On May 13, 1908, eight immigrant families from Norway organized this congregation under the leadership of Pastor H. Rogen of Canby. The first resident Pastor was C. C. A. Jensen, who came in 1909. Shortly after his arrival a temporary chapel was erected on the corner of Lovely Street and Fortune Avenue. Under the leadership of Rev. H. O.
